Advocating for Inclusive Development, Equitable Healthcare, and Sustainable Livelihoods
We are proud to share that the Chairman of SNAD Foundation Bangladesh, Mr. Syed Nuruddin Ahmed, is attending the World Bank Annual Meetings 2025 in Washington, D.C., representing our commitment to advancing inclusive and sustainable development.
The World Bank Annual Meetings bring together leaders, policymakers, and development experts from across the globe to discuss the most pressing global challenges from poverty reduction and health equity to climate resilience and social inclusion. For SNAD Foundation, this is more than just participation it is an opportunity to amplify the voices of the underserved communities we work with every day in Bangladesh.
Through our presence at this influential forum, we continue to advocate for:
- Inclusive Development: Promoting equal access to opportunities and resources for all, particularly marginalized populations in rural and urban Bangladesh.
- Equitable Healthcare: Expanding access to essential health services through initiatives such as Cleft Bangladesh, Eye Care Camps, and Maternal Health Programs.
- Sustainable Livelihoods: Empowering individuals through vocational training, livestock support, and small business grants under the Shonirbhor Bangladesh program.
Mr. Ahmed’s participation underscores SNAD Foundation’s growing engagement with global partners, donors, and institutions committed to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) especially SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being), SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), and SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities).
As we share our experiences and learn from international best practices, our goal remains clear: to create transformative, community-led solutions that uplift lives and foster resilience.
