S. A. Hasan Al Farooque, an Executive Member of SNAD Foundation Bangladesh, brings over 21 years of experience in the international development and humanitarian sectors. Having worked across 11 countries in South and Southeast Asia and Africa, he is recognized for his expertise in humanitarian response, crisis contexts, and issues related to vulnerable populations, refugees, human rights, and social inclusion.

Hasan’s leadership spans over a decade in senior management roles with various INGOs. His key areas of proficiency include strategy development, program design, knowledge management, civil society networking, and humanitarian standards. Additionally, he has been actively involved in policy advocacy, budget work, and cash-based transfers.

Throughout his career, Hasan has contributed to the development of national and regional policies, including Myanmar’s National Social Protection Policy and Right to Food campaigns in Bangladesh. His project management experience with UN organizations, including UNICEF, UNDP, UNHCR, and WFP, has honed his skills in partnership management, financial oversight, and compliance.
